La capacité qui met le jeton en jeu appartient à l'équipement, c'est donc le contrôleur de l'équipement qui le met sur le champ de bataille sous son contrôle.
Quant à l’attaquant, la capacité se résoudra au mieux et mettra le jeton sur le champ de bataille engagé mais pas attaquant.
EDIT : Je n'ai pas trouver de passage dans les règles actuelles pour ce cas précis mais ce qui s'en rapproche le plus est la règle suivante :
508.4a If the effect that put a creature onto the battlefield attacking specifies it’s attacking a certain player, and that player is no longer in the game when the effect resolves, the creature is put onto the battlefield but is never considered an attacking creature. The same is true if the effect specifies a creature is put onto the battlefield attacking a planeswalker and that planeswalker is no longer on the battlefield or is no longer a planeswalker when the effect resolves.
