Peut on jouer un contresort sans rien contrer?

Alors voila la situation, j'ai un Gelectrode et je veux le dégager. Puis-je jouer par exemple un Contresort ne contrant aucun sort (juste pour jouer un éphémère)?

Non, pour jouer ton sort, il te faut toutes les cibles valides.

La je suis d'accord avec keeki, il faut des cibles valides pour jouer un sort.
Mais c'est vrai qu'avec un contresort, on peut se poser des questions...
N'est il pas possible de cibler le contresort lui meme??? Bon je réponds: NON c pas possible.

As the Deflection resolves, it's still on the stack until it has finished resolving, so when you choose the new target for the Counterspell, you can choose the Deflection. The target changes right away, then the Deflection card goes to the graveyard. When the Counterspell resolves, the Deflection is not a legal target anymore, so the Counterspell is countered.
